I hope you’re staying safe, staying strong, and…enjoying the water! We’re so excited that it’s back, and that the boiled water advisory has been lifted. 非常感谢市长和我们在伦敦金融城的朋友们在过去的一周里所做的不懈努力。

Earlier today, I visited 约翰·马歇尔 to meet with Harry Chargois先生, one of RPS’s lead plumbers, to get a firsthand look at some of the work that our amazing Facilities Department is doing to get us ready to return. Mr. Chargois showed me how the filters are changed in our water stations — it’s a lot like your refrigerator at home! — and I got to drink a cup of fresh RPS water. 太好吃了！ I’m pleased to report that the filters in all of our water stations have been changed, all of our faucets have been flushed, and all of our ice has been replaced. 这意味着我们明天可以准时开业！
To account for last week’s closure, we’re making a few schedule changes:

First, this 1月15日星期三 — which was originally planned as an early release day for teacher planning — will now be a full day of instruction. We’re going to make some adjustments at the school level to ensure that teachers are still able to have time for planning.

Second, we are pushing the end of the first semester to 1月24日星期五. The first day of the second semester will be 1月27日星期一.

Third, 星期二，2月18日 which was previously scheduled to be a PD day, will now be a regular instructional day.
We’re making these changes so we don’t have to extend the calendar into June. 感谢您的恩典和理解。
